DESCRIPCIÓN: visitaremos los edificios históricos más representativos de la antigua Ciudad de Cuernavaca. Iniciaremos en la Catedral de Cuernavaca, antiguo monasterio construido en el siglo XVI, erigido por la orden franciscana. Fue una de las primeras 10 construcciones de orden civil y religioso levantada en el América Latina por los europeos. Debido a su antigüedad, arquitectura e historia. Fue declarado Monumento Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Continuaremos en el Jardín Borda, primer jardín de reproducción de especies botánicas tropicales de América, este lugar construido con la riqueza de un acaudalado minero del siglo XVIII; también fue la residencia campirana del Emperador Maximiliano I de México, y su esposa, la Emperatriz Carlota. Terminaremos la visita en el Palacio de Cortés, originalmente edificado como residencia oficial del Capitán Hernán Cortés, este baluarte medieval alberga las piezas históricas más importantes del Estado de Morelos.
